Hazel Bank Country House Hotel
Hazel Bank is a traditional Lakeland country house built around 1840 and set in 4 acres of garden and woodland now operating as a seven bedroom hotel. Along with elevated views of Scafell Pike and Great Gable you can see why this hotel has recently been awarded a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence Award.
Previously operating on oil, the hotel will now make a first year fuel saving of 27% with an approximate total fuel saving over 20 years of 52%. The installation of a 100kW Guntamatic Powerchip boiler and 2,000 litre thermal store and fuel store all housed within purpose built building will supply heating and hot water to the hotel via a short run of district heating pipework and will provide a return on investment of 20% with a payback period of 6 years.
